We were delighted to welcome Gwen Harper of 'Just Waste' who talked with us and answered our  waste-related questions at our monthly meeting 9 Apr 2024 at the Huon Valley Hub.

Gwen has a phenomenal knowledge of using waste as a resource, government and private re-use schemes, the impracticality of soft plastic recycling and where to now, in Tasmania. 

Jessica Lucas from Huon Valley Council also joined us to outline the Council plans for processing FOGO.
