The 2025 AGM om Tuesday 9 September was a very successful meeting in the Huonville Community Hub. The AGM was conducted quickly with CEH convenor Liz Smith reviewing our activities over the year, and seeing an unchanged committee re-elected.
Public Officer: Gerry White
Treasurer: Laurence Port
Committee members: Andy Armstrong, Liz Smith, Jenny Cambers-Smith, Chris Wilson
Then the main act, three researchers from PIMBY - Policy in My Backyard, a policy research team from UTAS, Dr Lachlan Johnson, Kimberly Brockman and Sarah Hyslop, commenced and we were enthralled with a very professional, comprehensive and entertaining talk about Tasmania's carbon emissions and focussing on Transport in the Huon Valley, which of course is something CEH have been talking about for some time. Please see the pdf of the presentation below and also the report of the AGM from Liz Smith for further details.
